The exposed geotextiles were located for electrical leakage using the water gun method
Water gun method - this technique is suitable for dry uncovered geo film placed directly on a sufficient conductive layer under electrical insulating geo film. In order for this technology to effectively locate the leakage, the water must be connected to the conductive material under the geo film through the leakage point, thus completing a closed circuit. The detector is used to monitor the current or voltage changes along the two points along the gun column to determine whether there is leakage. The method can usually locate a leak with a diameter as small as 1mm.
