How to detect the weld of geomembrane damage?

When geomembrane damage is detected and welded, the overlap between the anti-seepage membrane and the anti-seepage membrane should not be less than 10cm. At the same time, minimizing welds can save material costs and improve the stability of the anti-seepage system. Generally, there are two ways to inspect welds with geomembrane: the first is to use an air pump, pressure gauge and hollow needle for inspection; the second is to use a vacuum pump for inspection. The first method requires inserting a hollow needle into the weld to pressurize the entire weld and block the two edges of the weld, and then detect changes in air pressure.

The second method does not need to destroy the impermeable membrane. Press the vacuum pump with soap liquid to pressurize the soap liquid to detect changes in the air-tight air pressure in the weld. The air pressure of the air pump reaches and maintains 250kpa within 2 minutes, and then observe for 10 minutes. The allowable air pressure drop is within 10kpa. If the drop is greater than 10kpa, the welding is unqualified, and it needs to be repeated more than ten times.

Geomembrane detection Impermeable geomembrane is called an impermeable membrane, and its main function is to prevent leakage and isolation. The normal specification is 6 meters in width * 50 meters in length, and -300 square meters in width (roll).
